Truck Rack Take Control of your Pickup Bed with the New |

When asked by a customer to build him a Truck Rack, we put pencil to paper and came up with a new design he loves and you will too. Click here to see other headache racks for the back of your truck!
He needed to protect the factory bed rail with lots of tie-down capacity because he carry's a variety of supplies. Fifty gallon drums, buckets of paint, chain saws, large propane bottles, gas tanks, and his dog. That said, it had to be tough as nails.
He already had our Highway Products - Double XX headache rack and a fuel & tool box combination. So it had to be built to work with them.

Rope eyes every 24 inches and a cross-bar that has three locations make this rack versatile for hauling the variety of products he carry's. The cross-bar (square) also has a tie-down bar welded to it for more places to secure his load.

As a bonus, the bars can also be turned up, to the front, to the back, or down to give you some extra ways to tie your cargo down. It's easy to see, one could get creative with this unique system.

Or just take the two locking tractor pins out to release it and it comes out in seconds. Once finished, our customer took his truck rack down to a bed-liner company and had it sprayed to match his tool box - tank combo and Double XX headache rack. You can order yours plain aluminum, powder coated your color, or sprayed with the same bed-liner material. As you can see, this unit ended up looking tough and our customer, Roger, was happy with how well it worked to secure his cargo. |
